As you prepare for tonight's Christmas Eve service at your churches let me remind you to do the most important thing. BE STILL. I know services like this are huge. Easter, Christmas, these are both one of the biggest services to shine the light of Jesus to the world, and celebrate the birth and resurrection of Jesus. With huge services come planning, preparing, and here's the kicker…STRESS.
But I don't think God intended for His son's birth "service" to be stressful for the pastor. After all, we are celebrating the Saviour of the world. You can't do much more to top what has already been done. And that, was Jesus being born.
Luke 2:10 “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
e STILL, don't miss Jesus! Your service is fine! Let go of the weight and stress of what tonight will look like, and just be quiet today before your Saviour.
